The Origin of Our Recycled Fabric Swimsuits? It’s Quite an Adventure…
1. Our Raw Material: Fishing Nets
Every year, approximately 80,000 km² of various nets are discarded or lost at the bottom of the oceans. Fortunately, to combat this pollution, organizations like Ghost Diving recover as many as possible.

2. Cleaning and Storage
Once retrieved, the nets are washed and processed in recycling facilities.
They are then ready to undergo the lengthy treatment ahead, known as “regeneration.”
3. Regeneration
The nets are shredded, purified, and homogenized… This long process results in pellets, the highest possible quality standard.
At this stage, the raw material is reclaimed.
4. High-Quality Nylon
The pellets are transformed into a premium nylon thread.
This is the thread that fabric manufacturers—our suppliers—purchase.
